Work has started on Huyton 220, a 222,000 sq ft warehouse and distribution facility in Huyton,
DJL Construction has been appointed by Linden Hill Capital to deliver the new Grade A warehouse and distribution facility, located at Wilson Road in the Liverpool City Region Freeport zone.
The scheme is the second in a £30m pipeline of industrial and logistics developments in the North West, and represents the next stage of the companies’ growing development partnership. It follows the completion, in June 2026, of a new 30,000 sq ft Northern Removals Hub for John Mason International at Stopgate Lane, close to Knowsley Business Park.
DJL is now on site in Huyton with completion targeted for autumn 2027. The scheme will provide 220,000 sq ft of industrial and logistics space, with 18-metre internal eaves and a 65-metre-deep yard. It is targeting BREEAM Excellent and an EPC A rating, reflecting a strong focus on environmental performance and energy efficiency.
